Wow did things ever change over winter break. We sat down and did the finances. I already knew art school was going to cost a lot of money, but when I saw the amount of 0's on the loans I'd need...I decided to think about alternatives.


I refuse to make decisions based on money, but I happened to find a fantastic university an hour away that has a studio art and art education major, plus it's FREE! (I have an educational trust fund for public universities in michigan, but it wouldn't have applied to private art schools)

So suffice it to say, I'm going to school for free and still getting to study what I love. Yay!
